Sorry, I intended to post this earlier, but I guess it vaporized. Things happen to me sometimes early in the morning. Anyway and anyhow, we have two regulars, bapabear and Betts, and one frequent user, farmertom, having birthdays today. I would like to wish all of the Stagers celebrating their birthday today a Happy Birthday! 🎂🎂🎂🎂

Thanks, everyone! I’m happy to be birthday twins with bapa and Tom. I hope you guys have a fantastic day - cheers! 🍻🥳🍻🥳🍻

Boy, I wish! I’ll be working for a bit longer, till I’m reasonably sure I can maintain my lavish lifestyle, lol. It’s okay. I like my job. I just don’t like being obligated to it, especially when the weather is nice and the fishies are calling out to me…😁

Hang in at work as long as you mentally and physically can handle it. The amount you will receive only continues to grow.

The best advice I can offer is that you should make a decision based on:
1. You no longer enjoy your job and are not having fun anymore.
2. You no longer feel you are making a difference or no longer allowed to make a difference.

If that happens, it’s time to retire. It made the decision easy for me and I’ve never looked back. Missed the people, but not the environment.

" missed the people but not the environment "

So true there Jer. I spent a few weeks helping out on a project the last 2 months. Great to see old friends again and they even asked me to come back full time. Politely said NFW, I can really see the rat race is not for me once I am out of the cage. That swinging door policy works though.

That’s good advice, Jer, thank you. I guess I’m not ready. I do love my work and it’s meaningful. I have some great coworkers and colleagues. I get annoyed with the agency but not enough to override the good stuff. So there it is, I guess. 😁

When I figured that I could make as much money retired as I was making working it was a very simple decision… 🐟on
