JB’s Trout Secret is out.
At least I’m finding interesting reading as I sit here with my ankle throbbing.
This article reminded me of JB, the bass master that he is, and those beautiful trout he caught as bi-catch😂🎣🎣🎣

https://apple.news/AwmNrV5VPSd-D6wTdG9YRAQI think that works well for fishing trout in a lake or deep hole but most of my stream trout are caught in 12" - 24" of water. A deep hole is 2' deep, and they do hold the most and biggest trout.

It’s a field and steam article.
Tripped over a big electrical junction box that’s sticking out of a parking lot like 4”. Had A-LOT of sprained ankles in my day. Played basketball through college. So I’ll be ok but this one is gunna take a while to heal!

I think the article is definitely about trout in a little deeper water than your talking. Fly rod seems like the only good way to target them.

Darn J, sorry to hear this. Hope it gets better soon. Hate it when that happens. Lawsuit, lawsuit !
If I was that kinda guy I’d totally have one. But I wasn’t raised like that and I do a ton of work for the people I’d have to sue. Not going to cut my nose off to spite my face!
Happy Anniversary!! You and your wife are inspirational!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Thanks buddy. Appreciate the well wishes.
Most of my trout is in lakes for stocked trout. I think I'll give this a try

F. G. You'v been reading my mail. Most of my fishing is in the rivers and streams here in N. Idaho. Nothing
real fast and big but, the trout seem to like the waters. Not deep and not in heavly growen over with weeds.
I have found that for moving waters a sparcely tied leach pattern is hard for the fish to refuse. And, yes the
slim soft plastic has worked it's way into my fly box for my 3 wt. 6x tippet system. I don't usually go smaller
as there is always some big lunker waiting to suprise me and be a little too much for the rig I am using. But
hay, I love it when that happens. That is what winters are for, tying flies and re stocking the arsnel for spring.
Currently, I am tying the "Yellow Sally" on a big #16 hook. This will be my lead off fly to see what's going
on in my first ventures out this spring. It just so happens to be my go-to fly when things could be going a little
better. Hope every one had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. GOD Bless and tight lines to all.

I had a gold standard predatory lending suit going for us in 2017/2018 when things started melting down with banks, it was a cut and dried $3.8 million suit...the attorney said he would have it wrapped up in about a year, my attitude was that I could make a new business happen with a good attitude and moving on. I found that the respect people have for that attitude makes positive things happen, lawsuits can be negatively living in and dragging the past with you. Things happen, I have too much I want to do to get bogged down in suing someone even though you can.
