Yeah, we've been needin and prayin for rain. Just kinda wish it wasn't SO much, all at once.
Barely 24 hours between the storms when it does stop rainin.
It started rainin the day after Christmas and we've had over a foot of rain here since. Closer to 15 inches.
We had 4.13 inches in the last 48 hours and it's suppose to hit pretty hard here bout 0100 tonight and drop another 5+inches by Sunday night.
Just hope a lot of the water will end up in our lakes. They are still in the 40+% full range.

Gmorn Saw. I got hit by Agnus in 72. 4 1/2' of water inthe house. I was lucky. I lived on the high side of the river. Those on the low side had water up to the spouting on a two story house. Nature is a powerful thing. Water gives us life but it can also take it very quickly. Some are terrified by it some of us are drawn to it. After nearly drowning many yrs ago n a flood that claimed much of my property. I'm still drawn to the magical healing powers of it. On it near it I find peace. I wish y'all well. Maybe you'll get enough steady rain to bring your lakes back. πŸ‘πŸ‘

Yes, have been thinking about you folks out there. I have a couple family and friends near the water around San Francisco, haven't heard any bad news yet. Safe is the word!

Hope you hear from them soon. Everything around us is pretty wet. Lots of flooding/mudslides too.

It doesn’t flood in Alameda County (except for Niles Canyon)

My house is high enough that it doesn't flood here in Windsor either. But the Russian river runs just a few miles from my house and it is nearing flood stage today.

I still need 5 feet to fill my pond. It is good that Shasta Lake came up 6 feet yesterday. It does have 365 miles of shoreline so takes lots of water to rise at all.

I've got 2 different places that we found that should be absolutely a great place for spawnin bass. Both SM & LM. But especially the SM. Just put bout 20 feet of water in the lake for it to happen. Hopefully we'll get even MORE water than that. It's gonna have to come up bout 75 feet or so to get back up there. Not sure exactly how many feet low Sonoma is right now, but it's been comin up.

Just saw a report on TV bout Lake Sonoma. It's still 80 feet below full. They didn't give a % of how full it is.

I just saw that report again and this time it says it was 80% of full.
I suppose maybe it said that the first time but I didn't understand it that way.
