It sure was pretty out at the lake. 72' with a light south breeze. 5 trailers at the landing so I wasn't the only one scratching an itch. A young family was trying out a Christmas gift on the dock magnet fishing. A small gathering at the remada enjoying a meal.
I started with a 1/4 gold jig with a spinner and rainbow skirt. Fished every level of the water column from top down in 2 count intervals. Finally snagged a rock and lost the jig. Switched to a Ned rig using a purple/brown zman worm. First cast this lil guy gobbled it up! Several other taps with only one other hookup? I tinks it was too small to take the hook. I have lures with more fight in em than that fish! Very pleasant day to not be there. Tight lines

Awesome catch. It's a little cold up here in MA to do any fishing right now, but the weather hopefully will change to get a few more days in before things freeze over.
