Thank you all for the warm welcome and nice comments. The carp did come out of the Susquehanna River at Long Level area located by Wrightsville, PA. on a nightcrawler. The ray took me 30 min. to beach on 20# test mono line and steel leader, best fight I ever had with a fish in my lifetime.

Many years ago I was wading the river at Cove and was in the
middle and caught one on 4 lb test line it was about 30 minutes
of fun both the carp and I were tired at the end.
