Welcome to the Stage Wesley. We have a lot of "Rangers " here. A very popular boat.

Welcome to the stage Wesley we also have a couple of other members on table rock lake
Good to know. I feel pretty confident in bass fishing the lake but wanting to branch out to find the crappie and walleye. I'm on the Long Creek arm about 2 miles from the dam - so deep, clear water. Certainly excited to find this resource as I fish all over the U.S. and Canada.
Ranger,
I just left sw mo, and fished crappie with my neighbor all the time.
The only thing I can offer is watch the pros and listen closely to the local talk.
Also, make sure when you catch one note the depth. They only feed upwards and if you go deeper than they are, they won't dive down to feed. They will hit it on the way up, or as it falls to them. Also tube jigs tipped with crappie nibblers fished around boat slips help a lot.
Just my $.02

Welcome to the stage. I've fished upper Taneycomo for trout, but this year I'll also be launching much lower (Rockaway Beach?) For bass and crappie.

I've fished that area some. Can be really good depending on current flow. Small jerkbaits (rapala, rebel, etc.) have caught 4+ lbs trout for me. Bass have been a bonus for me as I tend to focus on trout in Taneycomo. Good luck!
Thanks azmntman! I'll give it a go. It's been tough just to find minnows in our area so I've been using plastic jigs and crappie nibblers but really haven't had a lot of success yet. I'll keep at it.
