Hi: Has anyone been fishing at Pinecrest Lake recently? We go up every year in September and October. I was just wondering how the fishing is in Winter. Is there any shoreline you can fish from that's close to parking lot. I'm disabled but can walk but not to far. Thank you

They pretty much drain the lake on winter looks like a barren burnt pile of sticks with the snow there will just be a very small amount of water you however can treasure hunt lots of hardware to be found plenty of lures and a few anchors but fishing no have to wait till around April the lake will be full by mid March we have a family cabin but usually don’t go up after mid October

Pinecrest Lake is drained a lot (not all of the way) during the winter. Boat ramp is out of the water and at this point probably covered in snow. Fishing from the shore should be possible but I've never done that in winter

Hi Steve,
Haven’t fished Pinecrest in years but do remember having to hike quite a bit in the wintertime to wet a line from shore. They do drain most of the lake during winter but there still is fishable waters near the dam that produce trout.

Not entirely, but a person with a disability would not be able to access the lake.
