This was the first bowl loss sense 2004. Not a bad record. Sean Tucker, Matthew Bergeron and seemingly Mikel Jones all opted out as they prepare for the NFL Draft. That didn't help matters at all. But cant blame them for not wanting to get hurt before the draft. They will likely go in the first or second round.

Yeah but I feel that it was a very selfish move on their part. My opinion is that they betrayed their fellow teammates for their own interests and financial gain.

But it now seems like an accepted approach for many elite college players. Maybe when they sign that mega NFL contract they could reimburse the cost of their free ride scholarship. I also wonder if it’s really the players decision of that of his greedy agent!

That should be there first comintment. Paying back there scholarship money.
