Good morning everyone, it's only December and this cold weather is already bringing me down, hope everyone has a good day

Good morning Lee. Cold weather will do that but look at it as we are 1/3 of the way through it.

Morning Leo. Had to read that one twice. 29* and going up to 51 today. Have a great day everybody.
How's the cleanup going on the basement Griz? Looks like the weather will be good for my boat ride tonight. Calm seas and mid 50s tomorrow for fishing.

Good luck tomorrow, Fly, I hope it amounts to more than a boat ride.

Good morning all..37°, clear and calm… going to a high of 48° today. Went out with the dog this A.M. and had 2 owls hooting back and forth… very nice morning for late December…

They seem to like to do that in the mornings, Oc, it's a very peaceful sound. I love it. I used to work for the DNR at Beaver Creek Valley State Park, and I would start at 4:00 am and sometimes I would hear 3 or 4 of them talking. It was awesome.

Good Morning, Stagers.

37* now, 40* later in the day, with a light wind. We must be having our January Thaw. I'll take it!

What do you do when you see a spaceman? Park in it, man.

Have a good one, boys and girls. That care of yourself and others.

Good morning Leo and everyone. 30° and partly sunny here, going up to 48° and partly cloudy later. I'll take it.
Kathy's younger brother passed away yesterday afternoon, massive coronary. He was the only one still living in CT. Needless to say we were shocked, he was the most health conscious of us all. She's trying to round up the family, but it will take time. Make the most of every day people, you could be gone in a flash.

Ok Plum pray you are feeling better. Outside? Maybe you should take it easy so you don’t get sick/ sicker from being outside.

So sorry to hear this, Fred. I pray God will comfort Kathy and you and your families during this difficult time. It’s true - we never know when our time here is over…

I hear you, Lee. Here’s a poem that my mom always recited during this month. It’s brought me a little comfort; hope it does the same for you and anybody else who struggles during this time of year.

I heard a bird sing in the dark of December.
A magical thing, and sweet to remember
We are nearer to Spring than we were in September
I heard a bird sing in the dark of December

Just gotta get through a few more months… come on, spring!
