A Convenient Prayer

I am a fan of King James version of the Holy Bible. It seems that Scotland and leaders from Scotland were the ones who led the way in publishing a Holy Bible anyone who could read would be able to decide for himself, or herself what it meant.
So, if you are suddenly caught and asked to offer a prayer at a meal, or any other occasion, this one is suitable in my opinion. It is commonly known and the Lord's Prayer!

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses (sins) and we forgive those who have trespassed (sinned) against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from Evil. For yours in the Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory Forever!
I usually end this with this phrase, In the name of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and for my part Jesus of Nazareth! Amen

For Christians, it covers the waterfront, and will seldom get an objection from several other faiths. Just Sayin…RJS
