I know what you mean, Danger. Christmas was always total chaos when the kids were young. It was magical in so many ways. Things are calm now, but the kids and grandkids will be here mid-morning and it will be fun watching them, the excitement in their eyes, the true love of family together.

Merry Christmas, Danger and all of you lovely people. My best gift is that Liam decided to sleep over last night. He just turned 13 so there was no 4:30 am chaos here either - I miss that, too, but I’m very thankful that he’s here. We’re waiting for my son & his gf to arrive so we can open presents. OJ, they may be teens but the ship still comes to port. After church last night all five grands and my kids and SILs gathered for dinner. From the 16 to 13 the excitement was still there. After dinner was presents and I had to turn my hearing aids off. They've grown up, but the wild-eyed excitement still dwells there.
