This is the best ad for a reason to NOT have an electric vehicle.

Wait until you need to buy a new battery for one.

I am going to wait until they can drill a well in Texas and discover electricity! We have decades of petroleum crude and gas and we know how to find and deliver it.

I can just see me in an electric car, headed to El Paso and run out of juice. Do I take a can and walk to the next station? I don't have the Secret Service waiting on me hand and foot!

At my age, I don't intend to ever buy an electric toy! Just Sayin...RJS

I would imagine half of that is a disposal fee. The going rate is around $4.50/lb of battery components. 😳 Below is a link with 2022 battery replacement costs. If our illustrious government wasn’t bribing people to purchase one, almost no one would own one.

If I was fortunate enough to afford an electric car it wouldn’t be spent on that POS. I’d buy me a brand new boat, motor, and trailer and travel all over our country taking friends from the Stage fishing. That would be awesome and I would do it.

I do not want one, period. $4K to $20K for a battery. Ridiculous! Then pay a mechanical fee to install it! No way. It upsets me to think about that lyin Biden trying to stop f****l f**l mining. Enough of that...

Agreed RJ. They are full of it if they think the average person could afford to buy one and maintain it.

When they stop sellin GAS for vehicles I'll consider it. HOWEVER, most likely I'll just stop drivin by then and pay somebody else to drive me there. They might not even LET me drive by then, who knows.
