Have a similar heater. Mounted to 3/4 plywood with casters on the bottom, plywood long enough to set propane tank so I can role around the barn where I'm working.

That will keep you toasty warm Whitey. Let's hope you don't have to try it though.

Right on Fred my youngest girl is just north side of my property an on a different power feed so if anyone else loses power I'll get them some heat. She has a carbon monoxide alarm so that's good 👍

Got one mounted in my basement that I use when it gets really cold in the winter. I have it more for backup also as I have electric heat and if the power is off for any amount of time, I can keep the water pipes from freezing

When power goes off the only heat I have is kerosene. It stinks and I don't know about the carbon monoxide it puts out.

That's why you need a carbon monoxide monitor 👍

Interesting point about the carbon monoxide issue, is that 2 big burners on a gas stove will emit just as much carbon monoxide at that 30k heater. Never heard of anyone dying of CO poisonings on Thanksgiving when all burners plus the oven are running. As long as its in a larger room with adequate air.. its just fine.
