A LETTER TO SANTA
Dear Santa:
As I have been shopping and planning my gifts for others this Christmas season, I have been thinking of the gifts I would like for myself. Please, dear Santa, bring me:
Patience, and an understanding heart, and the wisdom to lead by example for my children to be happy, and useful adults now that they are of age.
A knowledge of the things needful for the one I Love happiness and health so that I may be a good understanding person.
Give me thoughtfulness that I may share my abundant joy with my children and do what I can for them in return for all they have given me.
I wish, too, a joyous spirit which would meet each trial with a smile and add to the happiness of my friends and neighbors.
Give me a critical attitude toward my own faults and a tolerant one toward the faults of others.
And lastly, give me such a sense of fellowship with all people on earth that I cannot be truly happy until I have done my utmost to bring joy and relieve sorrow and suffering for others wherever they may be.
P.S. If I have asked for too much, just give me a living, loving faith in the teachings of Him whose birthday we are celebrating this Christmas.

A worthy list and a mirror of my own!
Plum I believe that we all should turn in this list. I certainly need to improve on all the items listed.

Iβm sure we all have room for improvement Frank. I know I do.

For sure Frank, I saw this on a site called Christmas stories. Couldn't pass it up. It hit home here too.

Wouldn't that be nice Henry. Well no harm in asking. May you and yours have a Merry Christmas too.

Very true. In the long run we know santa isn't. The goals are really up to ourselves. It goes right along with do onto others as you want done onto ourselves.

Let's hope 22 ends that way Frank and that 23 is the start of something we all need to do.
