Hey y’all. I’m moving to Colorado soon and as depressing as that cold weather’s gonna be, I’m excited about the change to get on some river smallies. If anyone is in the know about access points to any decent, wadable, water around Littleton, I’d be grateful. And if anyone wants to meet up once the weather allows, holler.

Tight lines…

My granddaughter is in Denver and loves the cold. I'll be there one day to visit. Good luck on your move.

Thanks much! My son and his wife are that way. They wanted to move to Wyoming, I’m thankful that didn’t happen.

I'm looking forward to it. I've had more than my share of snow, ice, and cold. Good Luck with the Smallies, my favorite fish in freshwater. Enjoy watching the grandkids grow up.

I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised coming from South Carolina. With it being dry here, the cold is much more tolerable as well the heat. I’m from MD originally and other than not having the Chesapeake bay, I prefer the summers in Colorado. In winter you’ll have to find moving water unless you enjoy ice fishing from frozen lakes and ponds January-march ! Welcome to Colorado and good luck finding the smallies Blue, there is good largemouth fishing as well. 🐠✌️
