One heckuva RB on some great teams and will always be a part of NFL history as his role in the “Immaculate Reception”
Gone at 72!

OJ I'm definitely not a steelers fan but Franco was one great player. Rocky Bleier helped his career by being a good back up. R I.P. big man.

Well Grizz, my Packers absolutely sucked after Vince Lombardi left, so I became a football fan and watched the games broadcast on TV. We got a lot of Steelers, Cowboys, Vikings, Rams and Raiders games back then. I hated the Vikings and Steelers less than the others and Rocky Bleier was from Appleton, WI (and a Veteran). My Packers were not worth watching after the first half, so I watched the others 😂

The steelers had a heck of of team back then. I do remember seeing some games where other team would focus on Franco n actually stop him. Rocky would take over n pull the heat off Harris. I still appreciate old football. Back when they didn't need to celebrate every tackle every catch. Too much showboating for me. Just play the game n leave all the theatrics to Broadway 👍

I’m with you 100%
I can’t believe the league condones this crap. You made a tackle, a catch, whatever…big deal, you did your job… get back in the huddle!
I will always respect Barry Sanders as he would score, hand the ball to the Back Judge and jog back to the sideline.
Act like you’ve been there before!

I blame SportsCenter and all their Top Ten Plays! Kids are looking for that instant recognition and forget it is a 60 minute game (over 3+ hours) and a team effort.
Soccer started the flopping BS, that spread to the NBA…and now to football.

Sorry for the rant!

Rest in peace Franco I remember him well and he was a hell of a good RB. I've always loved watching football as a Cowboy fan but I recognize the great player's of other team's.

I'm with you on this one also OJ. This yrs little league world series showed the effect the pro have on them. Some some taunting going on some temper tantrum n the showboat crap. Kids questioning calls. Saw it with grandsons high-school baseball team. They won but then stole a sledgehammer from another teams field. Then posted on fb how they hammered them n if they wanted the hammer come get it. Coaches n parents thought it was hilarious. Now the wife showed the latest post. The coach bought the boys a big gaudy ring. For their middle finger. Had a celebration at the school. Then they mugged for the camera. All flipping the bird with a sign saying we beat your axx. Again all thought this was a great idea. What will this Kids teach their kids 🤔

OJ the school they beat was in my work area with the county. Farm boys mtn boys n some city boys. I'm sure they'll be looking for payback next season. Clays dad is now a district court Judge. He's standing with clay withe a stupid smile on his face. Unfortunately Clay has gotten pretty cocky since the trophy win.
