Spent three months in Grafenwehr 7th army training center back in January of 69. We saw sunlight rwice in 3 months. It just alternated between snow and rain.

We did have school but they changed it from full day to half day. I'm glad they did. My drive home is 30-35 minutes. When I left the car read 34 and when I got home it was 24. Now it's around 0. The streets were just wet from snow near school. By the time I got home the side roads were iced. That's how quick it dropped. Wind chill Friday and Saturday about -30. I saw on the evening news Bears resale tickets for Saturday are going for as low as $9.
