Hey Jeremy, I got mine (20000 mAh) for jump starting vehicles and mowers but it also has a light and I just recharged it for the incoming storm so I can recharge our phones if the power goes out.
Bought it for under $50 bucks last summer.
It works great. I used it a week ago to jump start two trucks at church.

I have a 12vdc jump starter / usb battery with light. The solar one is just 5vdc with usb outlet. They both have dropped in price is main reason I bought them. I have jump started a few peoples cars and they really appreciated it.

They really do work well and are easy to use. People really do appreciate the help and it is so much better than jumper cables.

Absolutely. Polarity safety is usually built in. Jumper cables don't do that or keep many of todays electronics that use 5vdc charged Buddy is colorblind so red and black can be a popped charging system if you know what I mean.ZAAAp
