Hoping to go to Havesau this spring for some big gills and or redear. Never been there before. Does anyone know a good guide they can recommend Also lodging?? Thx cb
A suggestion, Bob. Figure out where you are going. I believe your destination along the Colorado River is Lake HAVASU. Get a good fishing map since you have time. A lot will depend on water level in the midst of a terrible drought. I like to go to Google Earth and work my way around the shoreline. The area is pretty well built up as far as accommodations you should have no problem. Tight lines.
The drought is not affecting lake Havasu as it pumps to Phoenix and Ca

I live in Henderson,Nevada about 160 miles from Lake Havasu & go down about 7 times a year. And have never had any problems launching my Boat, Water levels are always Good. I Fish for Channel Cats & Flatheads for the most part, Still looking for a Good location to catch Good size Bluegills has always been my problem. They have huge and I mean huge Redears in Havasu which I usually catch and release, probably to Big for Flatheads.
U need to come to VA if you want to catch some big cats....... Call 434-368-2675 Henry I will put u on some big cats
