A fish hit our window

How can this be? Wham! Something hit our window. I looked outside and there was a fish laying on our deck. How can that be? Ain't no flying fish around here. We live next to a pond and I've seen a couple of crawfish in our yard but never a fish. They were probably dropped by a bird. But how can a fish hit the window. Upon closer inspection I found out how!

Had a pheasent fly through my bedroom window once when I was young my dad ran in to find out what the noise was if the bird wasn't flopping on the floor i would have caught a beating( only kidding about the beating my Dad never gave them) 🇺🇸😎👍

I tried runnin from my Dad ONCE. I think I might have been 3 or 4 at the time. Wasn't a good idea.
