Good morning, Stagers.

34* now and it is going to hang right around there. With 40 mph wind, rain, and snow. It is what it is. Next week it's supposed to be around the 0* mark overnight. Not a good thing.

When you are old, and it's too cold to fish, what is there to talk about besides the weather and your health? Let's hear you!

If you are going out and about, enjoy it and have a good day.

Good mornin’, Leo and everybody!

The weather people always say it’s coldest right before dawn. 11* right now wind chill is 3*. A couple inches of snow on the ground so it’s time for the crock pot to make a big batch of Posole’ Have a great day all.

Good morning, Gravey, She seems to be, she has a Dr. appt. Thurs. She thinks she has diverticulitis, which is a blockage in her colon.

Our youngest son lives in Fort Worth, we don't want any tornados, anywhere.

HD to look that one up Wulffy. Next a lot of Mexican influence in my history, but I do love Mexican food. We're on the same track though, only I'm making a big pot of vegetable soup and some sour dough bread.

Love sourdough anything. Posole is a Mexican soup/stew made with hominy, pork, onion and red Chile. Rib stickin’ good and warms up the innards. For flavor and body I make mine the way my wife did with sliced pork skins and pigs feet added. Usually serve it with fresh flour tortillas…. This is a great time of year for food.

Onliest thing better than green chile is red. In my opinion!! However, our friend Jim Sargent makes a mean green chile. He’s very good with the green.

Wulffy, I asked my daughter one year what she wanted for her birthday and she told all she wanted was a big pot of my chili. Guess I must have done something right when she was growing up

I know if I even hint of making my red chili, my wife, daughter and granddaughter will show up with a bowl in their hand.😂😂. The green I use a recipe from Guy Fieri. He used it in a show for Super Bowl favorites.

Maybe after I get a taste of West Virginia Sauger, I’ll head north to give it a try. I love red chile.
