Going to ft lauderdale in a couple of weeks, what lures do they use on the beach down there and any good spots, plan on bringing spoons and bucktail jigs. 2nd question can I bring lures on carryon or do I have to check with luggage? Tks

Hmmm 🤔, I’ve got a few lures that have done some serious killing! Maybe you had better check them in with your baggage.

TSA will confiscate anything that you try to carry on that will cut, poke, or stick you. They may arrest you for lures that could be fasioned into a leathal weapon. I would put them in my checked bag. Don't be surprized when to get to your destination that your bag has a TSA inspection tag inside of it. Passed experiance.
