BroMike.... welcome to the Stage. Looking forward to reading about your future fishing trips. Sometimes I fish the Delta with an open seat on my boat. Perhaps someday we can fish together.

BroMike, we fish many of the same areas. I have a Porta-Bote but have not gone out in a while. I'm elderly and lost many of my fishing buddies due to medical issues/age. I get too tired by myself to hoist up the boat to my roof rack, assemble (take apart) the boat, load (unload) the motor, anchors, net, and fishing gear to enjoy the fishing trip. Another issue is personal safety on the water and driving home after fishing. I've been doing a lot of bank, pier, aqua duct by Tracy fishing, let's meet up and see if we are compatible.

Hi Marvin... I've lived 2 to 3 hours from the Delta my entire life but only fished for Stripers a few times out of Rio Vista. Last year I moved closer, about 1 hour and 20 minutes but also closer to Clear Lake, my #1 destination. This last year the lack of water in the lakes and the annual July/August algae bloom on Clear Lake forced me to start learning the Delta. It has been a fantastic experience and I'm so thankful to all the anglers (check out the YouTube channel TheBassHookUp) that helped me out. I have so much more to learn and am really excited to fish my first Spring season in 2023. I honestly don't know how I'm going to decide where to fish. I can see pulling over at the I-5 overpass and letting a coin toss decide if I'm going North or South. Send me a PM and let me know what kind of information you need. I'll be happy to share what little I know.

Best time to get ahold of me is in the afternoons every time I go past that area I'll look at that river I don't wanna put my boat on it I don't even know where there's a boat ramp to put on more or less more efficient or anything else I fished the sierras most of my life for trout and perch I do a lot of fishing and Imperial Valley in Yuma area along the Colorado River for catfish and croppie. I've had a boat most of my adult life I love the ocean offish catalinas often as I can get the boat in the water what's the price of everything as expensive as it is it doesn't seem like it's often enough the phone number I gave you is a cell phone the afternoons are the best time for me before 8:00 o'clock at night I'm kinda old anymore and like to get some rest

OK, BroMike most likely at Lake Temescal, Chabot, Don Castro, Quarry, etc. (member of East Bay Regional Parks) from shore after a trout plant. I use distinctive fishing gear vintage bamboo 3-piece rod (x-old fly rod) with a vintage Zebco reel, vintage Garcia Colon rod (metal ferrule) (trout fishing), modified shopping cart with big fat wheels" from my kid's "Big Wheel", maybe other vintage (Mitchel 300 reels), some "Frankenstein" rods (my hobby making rods from other people's discards) and a balance system rod holder.
Happy Holidays, tight lines

Taking my grandkids fishing at Heather Farms Park, Walnut Creek 12-20-22. For their safety and my piece of mind, we will be fishing behind the fence close to the administration/recreation building. Identifying me, bamboo fishing rod with vintage Zebco reel, shopping cart with fat, big wheels (wheels from kid's "Big Wheels" trike). If the trout plant has not occurred, we will move to Contra Loma Reservoir. Hope to fish with you one of these days. tight lines Nonki
