You all must remember Greg's ketchup post how long it ran.

Well let's see who likes fruitcake. Last count on another thread was 5 of us.

And for you home makers of it, recipes are most welcome.

I will slice up a Claxton bar into 7 pieces and make it last a week for dessert. Bought 4 bars this year and 1 bar every other month will get my fix. Then wait it out until next year.

I’m not picky in the least. I’ll eat just about anything. I’ve had a couple good fruitcakes and a bunch of bad ones!! I’d say it’s like anything it depends who made it but overall I’ll go 👎🏻

My family make Potitca at Christmas and Easter it’s a far superior loaf dessert IMO.

Sorry but I don't believe I have ever tasted a fruit cake worth eating 👎 but it's been a very long time since I've tried some 🤪

Fruitcake, not so much. Have had too many that were not very good.
German Stollen, absolutely yes. Have only had a few that I didn’t relish.
Have a great day.

Took some searching! Looks like I’m due to make a batch this year. Been 6 years since I last made it. I’m Slovenian and it’s my great, great grandmothers recipe.

That’s it. My family spells it differently. Probably wrong. 😂. Never used butter with mine, but some do. I like it plain or with cream cheese! Yum!!!

Oh you are suppose to put that on top of stuff? I thought you just slice off a hunk and let it slide on down to the belly.

Haven't had one I liked yet but sure there is a homemade one I would enjoy. Looked up the ingredients...all good!
