Headed out for some shore fishing and been meaning to check out the boat launch atR res.....It is actually a section of the Farmington River, with a dam...Caught a bunch of panfish,and a trout...No bass caught, oh well, I don't mind..Definitely going back with the tin can,next spring ๐

This Calico did not seem to mind the roar of the jets overhead...Bradley Air Port is nearby

I was surprised to see this guy...1 of 3 caught...they liked the mini tube on the bottom...Can't wait for spring time!
Pic shows the recent winter drawdown, and the gloomy weather...hoping to get out just one more time..snow in the forecast for Sunday night....boo๐คจ

Nice catching BB. Looking at my Lakes and Ponds book, it seems there's a lot of Suckers, Lamprey, Carp, and Eels in the Reservoir. Also lot's of baitfish. Surprisingly not many Largemouth, but a good Smallmouth population. I've never fished there, maybe next year. Thanks for the pictures.

B B ..... Looks like a great variety of fish to catch with kids for I D purposes and keepin busy. Add crawlers and a kid and it'll be all good. Thanx for the tip.
