My Mom lost a Cousin on the Arizona, but I can’t imagine what those folks went through during or after the attack.
I have nothing but respect for those who answered the call to arms to fight in the Pacific while others were fighting in Europe.
We owe a huge debt of gratitude to those who served then, as well as those who served since and those who continue to serve today.
May we never forget those sacrifices!

I had a client that was there on December 7. He was 19 years old at the time. He wouldn't talk about it except to say, "I looked out the window and saw the red zero. I knew we didn't have training exercises on Sunday. I said to myself, I think we're in trouble."

To so many it is just another day. Although I was born a year after I was taught to honor all who was there and all our veterans who served then and now. God bless them for helping to keep us all safe. Merry Christmas to all.

Lucky you to still have her alive. I lost mind 15 years ago. Happy birthday to her. Our newspaper hade a little box with the information about December 7th. So much for remembering the day that will live in infamy. Used to have a good write up every year.
