Love the outdoors and fishing is one of my favorites. I would love to fish at Port Aransas area one day. What part of the year would you recommend to fish on Kayak or wade fish this would be my 1st time fishing salt water. I know precautions are have to be taken out there due to being a 1 st timer. Are there any groups out there that join in to fish in the area. Please advise thanks.

Good morning, Rgarcia, and welcome to the Forum. I would PM El Rod, he lives in Port Aransas and he fishes a lot. He would be on top of things. I have fished there for 3 years while Wintering there but it's been at least 10 years ago. If I can be of any help, let me know. Good luck to you.
