Has anyone launched at 137th and Ashland in Calumet Park. I did years ago but things can change and I wonder how deep it is. The ramp and facilities are beautiful.

Tom, you and I are waiting for information about the facilities. Looks good on the map.
Tight Lines.

I guess you know where it is and did you ever launch there. I don't know if this is a private post. I would like to talk on email or the phone. Evidently you live somewhere in the area. Hopefully someone that used it will comment. There are piers close to the ramp and I am going to that area soon to see if I can find someone that keeps a boat on the piers

I’m actually 40 miles away. I’m just interested in seeing what is out there.
This is NOT a private post.

I spoke to someone about that ramp on 137th and Ashland and was told the water is deep enough if you go east toward the lake from the ramp. The pier is a little high to get in your boat but parking is good and I plan on using it

Thanks Tom. Is that area trolling motor only?
I’m not sure what the write up means.

The channel is narrow but if it is trolling motor only I think it will be for a short distance like 400 ft. There is a marina closeby and a sailboat there with a 5 ft keel and a 38 ft cruiser also . Google Fay's Point Marina Calumet Park, Il and you will see their docks and the channel and the bridge. The ramp is east of the bridge. I have a feeling the water depth is ok

If you go to Google and find Fay's Point Marina Calumet Park, Il you will see their docks and a bridge. The ramp is before the bridge. This will give you an idea on the area
