Went to my local fishing spot yesterday in the Framingham, MA area. Weather was sunny and cool. I have been using a small shad lure recently and have had excellent results, and yesterday the bass were exceptionally active. 4 catches in less than an hour. What a way to spend lunch time.

My grandson and I like this spot because we never know what we will catch. Last week I caught the nice pickerel.

I loved fishing the Northeast when I lived in Castine and Southwest Harbor. It seemed the fish were ready to bite from ice out to freeze up. I would have thought your water would be hard by now. Great Job.

We had a skim of ice last week, but the weather has warmed up and the ice is now gone.

I had a half hour to kill after lunch so I decided to spend it fishing. Today was sunny, but windy and 40 degrees. I made a few casts and the wham I knew right away I hooked a good fish. It took my time to reel in this bass which I would guess was 3 lbs.
What a great way to kill some time.
