Only caught and released one white perch in 45 degrees Carnegie Lake this evening. I think that it’s fished out. I may stop fishing there.
Hi NJ. Many moons ago as a kid, my dad and I fished the lake and all that surface activity whetted the appetite for all the bass we were going to catch. Well these bass changed to carp. The lake was full of them. That was the first and last time we wet any lines there. Any lake teaming with carp, in my opinion is good for crap (wonder why those two words resemble one another). Have no idea what the lake is like today, but that was my long ago experience.
