Very good.
Some young folks on here will not understand the analogy.
Well played.

My daughter was often interrupted when going to work, by a moose or three between her front door and the car. She would have to wait for the moose to leave. Most real Alaskan bosses understand the delay. More people are killed in Alaska by moose (not even considering highway collisions) than by bears. A bull during the rut has about the same disposition of a fighting bull. A cow with calves is also very protective. They concentrate in populated areas, especially in the winter. Like deer, they like domestic plants. Moose are gigantic. Take ot a tape measure and pull it out 50 inches. Now pull it out 80 inches. That is just the width of the antlers on a regular to trophy moose. now look at the photo and compare the horns to the rest of the moose. You get the picture.

Bank fishing has it's own challenges in Alaska. One always has to keep their eyes open for bears and moose. Most fishermen carry a gun when stream and river fishing. Many hikers and walkers carry a gun or bear spray even on in town trails and parks. Now those in power want to reintroduce grizzlies back into heavily populated states. What is it about this movement am I missing?
Back to your post. Great photos, thanks

I was told moose are a big danger on the roads. with so much snow on the ground it is easier to walk on the plowed roads.

That is so true. That is why I did not include road accidents. Oh, so many road collisions are totals to the car even though the moose is not being aggressive.

That bear paw, is not as impressive as the full animal photos, but take a close look and compare to the size of the girls hands and how far they are apart. Those critters also come right into Alaskan towns, including
Anchorage. People have been attacked right on the bike path in Anchorage. Again I ask, The people in power want to re established them in many parts of the lower 48. Why???

When we went to Canada on the Harley we were really afraid we were going to come across one! Luckily did not.

I don't believe I have ever been in the attic. I am not sure asking a question is an attic offense as I have attacked no one, just asked for a justification and explanation. That being said, though the subject is non constitutional, non religious, and not even a legal issue, I will take your good advice with a friendly smile and make this my last comment on the subject.
