Troy sent me this one and its a good reminder to remember to say Thanks for those little things that folks do for us.

A simple word " Thanks ", just shows so much appreciation when kindness is brought our way.

It costs so little and means so much.

I managed anywhere from 30 to 120 people in the circulation area of newspapers. My district ran with little difficulty most of the time. The younger, inexperienced managers asked me why I didn't have the problems in my area they did. "It's simple, I said, I pay attention to the details, the little things that seem meaningless to you, matter to other people. Once you get that, you will have less management issues with people too." Not sure they really got it.

I thanked them, they helped me. They thanked me, I helped them. Not too complicated really.

Greg, there is a Halmark movie this year that hits that to the Tee. It starts out the boss paid zero attention to the employees personal lives and not realizing that people do have a life outside of work. Everything was all about getting a rocket into space and getting ahaead for the next launch.

It took a simple sign of appreciation from a little girl to turn him around. Yes, the little things matter to other people.

So true Wulffy. We all have that amount in our pocket. Just need to spend it a little more.

Everybody struggles in one way or another to get along through each day. As I’ve grown older I have become more aware that simple acts of kindness can lift someone for a whole day. To say thank you, to give a smile, or even just to speak a kind word of greeting can make all the difference. Spread sunshine, interact, look people in the eye when you do it. Recognizing someone’s personhood can make a world of difference.

Good morning, plum. That is so simple and easy to do, but yet it is seldom done. Thank you, plum and Troy, and have a great day.

This all goes back to my earlier post, how our actions and words can have an effect on others that we never know about. That's why it's so important to LIVE the concept , not just do it when you think it's needed.

It’s so true. Just simple things. Have anyone ever just thought about or maybe it has happened to you. The fact that the Stage brings us all together everyday. We get up get our phones or computers or however we get internet. We check the Stage and make sure everyone is ok. When one doesn’t answer we all notice and along the way someone will let everyone know the status. It’s small but yet so very big. It’s hardly ever a day we check and someone is NOT thanking someone for something. So thank you family for being a part of my life.

I wonder where else there is a sight that we start with a good morning thread, a bad joke thread, a thought for the day posting, birthday announcements. Than through out the day caring for our fellow man and woman in what they may have to deal with to just get through the day.

Yes, you all are a part of my life, and that my friends is family.
