Columbia River mouth of the Cowlitz Steelhead

Has anyone been catching any Steelhead in the Columbia at the Cowlitz river mouth? I am planning on going down there next weekend and try my luck. I know it is a little early, but the winter Steelhead should be showing up pretty soon

Boat, I was thinking of pulling Brad's Wigglers or Mag Lips. Not sure if I would be better off trolling 360 flashers with Spinners

I should have added that I have props on the engines of my boat so I can only go a little ways up the Cowlitz.

here is what a guy I used to know used there. Actually he was a little down stream from where you are fishing , on the columbia. He found his spot and returned year after year and anchored at same spot a specific distance from the shore. What he used was a LARGE Spin and Glow with a reflective wings. The color that worked for him was flor Orange with black tiger stripes. I imagined he had it behind a flasher of some sort to draw attention to it and just let it work. Caught a lot. Been maybe 30 years since I talked with him before he passed. Let us know how you do?
