The Sound Of Silence....From those who have or still serve
Nov 18, 2022 13:10:44   #
Kerry Hansen Loc: Bremerton, WA

"SOUND OF SILENCE"... SUNG LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD...

"SOUND OF SILENCE"... SUNG LIKE YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD...
YOU WILL HAVE TO TURN UP THE VOLUME A BIT.
ALTHOUGH AN AMERICAN ARMY PRODUCTION,
VERY MOVING ESPECIALLY THE LAST SCENE,
OPEN OUT TO FULL SCREEN
STOP, PAUSE, REFLECT;
ON THE COST OF YOUR FREEDOM.
IN TRIBUTE FOR VERY SPECIAL MEN AND WOMEN
WHO HAVE SERVED THEIR COUNTRY,
WHO SERVED YOU.
Brought Tears!

I have some people ask me, does it get any easier to remember back to when you had a friend or a love one fall in
the line of duty. This could mean military or law enforcement officer. It is hard to explain what you really feel, I say.
Over time it is a little easier, and sometimes it is easy to get wrapped up in the worldly things going on around you
but thanks to people like Kerry Hansen to bring up the past and your memories of you friend or love one. It make me more proud to be the friend or father of the one that fell for our country. This helps me to never forget My Son,
Sgt Karl A. Campbell, 101 Air Borne Ranger. K.I.A 4 Oct 2010. When he left to go to Afghanistan he told his younger sister that he knew or had a feeling that he was not coming back, and if his was to be he wanted to be buried in Arlington Cemetery. On 9 Nov 2010 Section 60, is now his resting place. So is it easer to accept what happen?
A little, but will I ever forget...... HELL NO! And GOD BLESS THE USA
