My son and I are looking for better ice fishing lakes in Indiana with Crappie and Walleye if we can find them but always glad to catch decent sized blugills. We are in the south-central part of the state where we don't always get good ice, and even then not usually for long.
Hoping for some tips on lakes with good ice and areas that produce.

Up north at wawasee you have flats and weed bed lots of crappie and big rock bass check channels good luck also ice fishing at summit lake crappies and walleyes

The extended forecast looks good for ice this year. We may actually be able to fish at some of the better lakes in south central Indiana.
