My Son in Law and his family were not big turkey fans either when my daughter and he got married.
The first Thanksgiving I smoked a turkey in the Webber and they LOVED it.
My SIL now smokes one every Thanksgiving so I don't have to.

He and his family said they never knew that turkey could taste like that and they ALL look forward to the smoked bird.

Saw I remember you talking about that before. I do enjoy hickory smoked turkey delicious meat. Bug does eat enough meat to make getting a smoker worthwhile. Hamburger roast beef n ham are the only meats she likes. Doesn't eat much of any. She likes baked chicken best 😒

Do I like turkey? If I were asked what I want for my last meal, I would probably ask for about eight turkey sandwiches with mayo, on white bread. MMMmm, my sox roll up and down just thinking about turkey sandwiches! Leftover turkey is NO problem in my house!

Thanksgiving has really turned upsidedown from the ways it used to be. There's just my brother Kelly and me left. We have a smoker we built big as our truck a couple years ago so, we'll smoke our turkey's and hams making a few of our favorite side dishes and dessert's and Thank God for our blessings and Stuff ourselves on some football games.

Losing our loved ones is sad and even more so during the holidays.
The only comfort for some of us is knowing that they had accepted Christ and know Him as their Savior.
Knowing this we in turn KNOW that we shall be reunited with them for eternity when it's our time to leave here.
What a joyous day that will be.
Until then, hold one another close and be thankful you still have each other and remember all the good times y'all had together.
I pray that you and your brother can find comfort and peace this holiday season knowing this is true. SAW1.
