Not sure anyone is in the mood for fishing down there now
I'm a Charlotte harbor fisherman but haven't been out past the lock but I'm going to get out after this next storm.
I'm finally finished with the cleanup and repairs I'm capable of with out insurance money.
So it looks like it's time to go fishing.
A friend of mine was out last week and he had 2 good trips.
He didn't tell me his spots.
But the pressure is down since Ian and the fall bite is happening fisherman or not.
Hey Norm, we hope your damages were minimal and your family safe. Tight lines.
All my damage was exterior.
I'm still water tight.
The boat lost the FM radio cover it was on the lift
We lost our pool screen cover and 5 trees.
The soffits took a beating.
Well, hell, we had that much damage in Sarasota! Glad you fared well.
Well I guess some of us faired out ok. They just finished cleaning the debris out of my canal so maybe I can get out now. Thanks for the heads up on harbor fishing
Had to look that one up Kev, as I noted you changed the spelling.
When do we use "fare"?
A little simpler and easier to remember than "fair", "fare" is basically a noun that defines the price paid to travel a bus, an aircraft, a train etc. But, sometimes, "fare" can also be used as a verb. In this case, it is used in formal vocabulary, before an adverb such as "well", "badly", "better" etc., indicating how well or badly someone does or something feels in a certain situation.
Example 2: I hope you fare well on your mission. - "fare" may also be used as a verb, indicating how well someone does in a particular situation.
Ouch.
I hope I never use a word out of context.
Most of us are fisherman not English majors or word Smith's.
I may not have perfect grammar but I can tie a perfect knot and bait a perfect Hook.
I hope that's what we're about.
No offense meant Norm. I'm always happy to learn, regardless of the subject. I'm sure you could teach me a thing or two, sorry :(
Thanks for the proper grammar/spelling information but I’m also a fisherman with poor typing skills without spell check. So cut me some slack
