Concord river Bedford Massachusetts

We didn’t get skunked , got a couple . After about an hour and 200 cast I caught this good fighter of a pickerel. My son caught a dinky pike. And a small bass he saw talking the spinner near the boat . We had a nice curious 6 or 8 point buck looking at us from the tall brush, just his head and antlers showing. The there were a dozen blue herons all about the place . There are nice foot trails near the water . Looks like a good place to shore fish . After leaving that area we explored other parts of the river in Billerica mass.here’s two photos it was a nice day to be outdoors

You guys did better than I did today Billy. 2nd skunk in a row. Looks like you had fun, and found a few anyway. At least in Mass you get to fish. Thanks for the pictures.

I assume this was your trip on Sunday. I took a look at the river as I passed by on Rte 3, and it looked pretty rough with the wind. Because of that, I didn't swing by the ramp, didn't think you'd be out. Glad you had a good day.
