When is too Much, too Much?

Well, fishermen and sports fans, I have been a member since December 30, 2019, and have posted more than 1,000 stories of varying quality and interest to you.

As of late, and consulting with close friends, we have discussed the timing and frequency of posting articles. Whether there are too many? I don’t choose to intentionally offend anyone but there is a difference is trying to offend and stating a personal belief.
But I do have a very active imagination and it wins out sometimes.

RJ, I have no idea what you're talking about. I'm wondering if, at this time of the evening, you may be a bit deeper into the bourbon than I am. When I have the time, I have thoroughly enjoyed reading your reminiscences, stories and enlightenments. If I haven't seen one in a while, I find myself looking for one. You keep going. You're a long way from approaching 'too much' in my mind. I enjoy a good read from somebody who has been there.

Unfortunately, these days, stating your personal opinion(not yours personally, yours in the third person referring to people in general), offends some people. I have no problem RJS with your stories or the number written. Sadly, a lot of people want to condemn others who don't think like they do. Keep on, keeping on.

RJ are you asking for yourself or for all the users that post articles.?

Either you or other users my opinion is we have a choice to read or not. If the first few lines catch my attention i will read on no matter the author. So to answer your question there are not to many articles by anyone on here i opt to use the God given gift of choice.

There will never be enough of your posts IMO. I don’t always agree with you but that doesn’t and SHOULDN’T matter. We can agree to disagree and I will still respect you to the upmost. You’ve lived through and seen so much to not respect your opinion would be ludicrous to me. That said agreeing with you is not necessary to respect your opinion. Unfortunately that concept been lost in much of todays world. Not sure how or when so many people and their opinions became beyond reproach but I sure wish we all could take a step back some time and try to open our minds.

We are all human NONE of us are always right!! And that is the only FACT I won’t budge on.

Just sayin….. keep them coming!!

Absolutely Not Robert. I find your stories fascinating , a window to history if you will. Some hold my interest more than others, but all are entertaining. Keep it up my friend.

Please write and post as many articles as you feel the need to. We can read them, skim them or skip them. I personally enjoy them all tho I don't always have the time to read the really long ones.

I believe that you underestimate the value of your stories to many of us. Story telling is getting to be a lost art and I look forward to reading each of your posts. Please keep them coming and thanks for sharing.
