I am a long time west coast angler looking to start fishing again as a disabled person here in Annapolis. I need places close to me that I can get to on my hoveround, or locations which allow for drop off and use of a walker. Due to my messed up back I am unable to walk very far. I crave being outdoors, I crave wetting a hook. I don't get seasick but I'm not sure how I would do on a boat these days. We're going to take a look at Katherine Green Park tomorrow because the posted pics make it look pretty accessible and we're only 4 miles from it. If anyone has some suggestions, I'd love to check them out. If anyone wants a fishing partner and is willing to deal with my issues, I'd love to discuss it. All the Florida YouTubers have helped me with my craving but I just need more. Thanks and happy to be here.
Welcome Cherley. You're a little out of my range, but we have people in your area. Another you might look for is a fishing pier in the area. Check on line and see if there are any possibilities. Welcome to the stage.

Good luck at Green Park tomorrow. Hope you get some big tugs on that rod there. Post some pictures of you catch if you can figure out how to.

Good morning, Cherly, and welcome to the Forum. We do love pictures. A lot of the larger parks and piers have areas that are accessible to the handicapped. Not sure if they are any in your area though. Good luck.
