I really like that the CDFW is finally changing so that the license is valid for 1 year from date of purchase instead of January 1 to December 31.

So, folks aged 65 and above have to buy a license there?

Saw: Haven't been on the Stage for quite a while. Anyway, the license that I got last time (mebbe 3 years back) cost me $7.00. There are a couple of requirements that must be addressed before purchase, but look it up. I think the price is still valid. And a special howdy to RJS. Glad you're back. Just sayin'...

Indiana needs to go to this. However it no longer applies to me. Once you hit 65 you can get a life time license that includes a trout stamp.

If you are a Veteran and are 50% or more Disable your hunting and fishing license is $ 7.50 each.
Not every one knows that , I'm now qualified for it.
That will be a big savings.
So those of you who served in the military and got hurt check in to it.
You have to be 50% or more.

Our fishing licenses have been 365 days and so we’re our state park passes. I just learned the state park passes went to calendar year, which sucks. This conversation just reminds me my fishing license is expired. We get senior discounts for both, but no lifetime pass, which would be nice.
