Andy's - What are you using for bait? Crappie by me seem to be really slow unless they are hitting at night. We get a few about the size of yours on minnows. I have colored crappie jigs I use with minnow. Caught a couple that way. We're catching more bluegill and smallie now than crappie.

This is an easy way to show you. Don't lose the juice, and put them in a little jar so you can carry in your pocket. I use these little jars after I used up these 1" Gulp Minnows for bluegills.
