I’ve been fishing these three for the past couple weeks and I am having no luck at all. It appears that it is all rock/clay bottom, hardly any structure. Is the drawdown the reason I’m not hooking up? Or am I just looking in the wrong places? Any advice is appreciated!

Fishing will start getting better as the water cools. Once water temps get into the 50s, find the shad schools and you'll find the fish. I mostly fish Cherokee from Point 17, up to about Point 26.

[Hey DKing, are you talking about fishing for stripers and hybrids? My wife and I love fishing on Cherokee for those, but we're in our 60's and catching bait is a real struggle (not too nimble any more). How do you get shad for bait and in what area?

Yep, on the Stripers and Hybreds. I pretty much fish with artificial baits. I target them when they are actively feeding. Many people also troll for them. There is a bait shop near the dam that sells live shad. May be others I'm not aware of. Things should pick up next week. Water temps were 65-66 degrees yesterday. Needs to get down to mid 50s for their dinner bell to start in earnest!!

Good deal. Around Thanksgiving should be about right. Lake temps were 63-64 today. Cold front this weekend should knock the temps down. Fishing is pretty slow right now.
