NJ stocked the rivers with larger, breeder size bows about 3 weeks ago and I’ve been trying to find them in all my usual spots ever since. I finally did in the TCA on the Pequest. Hope this helps other seekers.

You can tell that it's stocker by looking at the front fins, they are all wore off from going around the hatchery tank. Thank you for the update, 4.

They stocked Roosevelt Park pond in Edison on October 19th! I only saw three rainbows caught that day! They were around 16 inches! It is hard to believe that 180 trout were stocked there! I went there a few days later and only saw 1 fish caught! I tried pink power bait, yellow power bait, various trout magnets and several spinners and did not get a single bite all day!

They either moved or were feedind sporadically. It is a fine line between a fish striking or passing on a presentation.
