I am a strictly Penn products fishermen. They are the best... Penn just warranted two fishing rods.. They were very respectful and helpful.. They shipped the new rods very quickly.. Now I will go out and purchase two new reels for my newly acquired spinning rods..

I like all of my Penn reels, I have never had trouble with any of them. I make my own rods. The Battle III is a great spinning reel for the money. I don't think the is any reel on the market for the price, and I have two Shimano Stellas.

Yep, most of my reels are Penn . I use Spinfishers Vs for my surf rods and most of my bottom fishing gear are Penn. I have a Penn reel that I bought and have used consistently for 67 years. It retired now, but it still functions perfectly.

I have Penn reels that are 50 years old or older and they are all still functioning.. You know what I noticed with Penn reels is that over the years they have gotten quieter... But dollar for dollar they are the best made reels on the market..

I agree 100%….still use my Penn 700 & 710 that I bought back in the late 60ies when the first spinfisher came out…but have a bunch of new ones as well…all the Penn equipment is geared for surf casting…started fishing the surf in New Jersey island beach state park area and now retired travel to North Carolina….most of my rods are st croix..one of my fishing buddies broke his surf rod so sold him my 11’ penn prevail and gave him one of my old 700 greenies… he loves the combination!
