First, I need to thank EasternOz for the encouragement and instruction. I don’t intend to be rude, but sometimes I don’t get to read these posts for days. Just know I do appreciate the insight, brotherhood, and sisterhood of this site. Second, my name is Danny. I am a semi elderly person that still believes he is 25. Love fishing, don’t get to do it much, the wife, and baseball. Not entirely in that order. Thanks and pull ‘em in head first.

Welcome PLS. I used to live in Greeneville, TN. I always enjoyed coming to Kingsport. Enjoy FS. A lot of these knuckleheads know their fishing stuff and have become fishing buddies and friends. Btw, can I sign up for that SEMI-elderly thing? Sounds like it beats being just plain old. 😆

Thank you Ghaynes. I am 67. Figure I’m not old until my mind tells me I’m not 25 anymore. Don’t care what my knees, joints and organs say. By the way, the slabs should be shallow on Douglas this week after the cool weather. Relative said they were 25’ deep a week and a half ago. Might try your new purchase out next week, if you get the opportunity. Greene County is one of the prettiest places I have seen.

Danny, It's not a requirement to participate daily or at any other set interval here, it's just that some of us are kinda addicted to the whole fishing thing. I have some physical difficulties now that limit my fishing time, but still enjoy the discussions and insights available here. Watch out, you may drift into our trap and never escape !

Too late, Nutz4fish. If I get free time I browse thru FS to see what’s going on around the country and read the jokes. I am kind of reserved and don’t usually chime in unless I have a reason. Thank you for the encouragement.

PLS....Unfortunately for the folks here, I don't hesitate to run my mouth ( keypad ) at the drop of a hat. I don't need a reason. Too late for me to alter my behavior now, unless it does someone harm.

Always be yourself. All of my friends and most of my relatives are talkers and will tell you what they think at the drop of a hat. Most of the time without any filters. My wife says “If God knows what we do, say, and think why should we hide it from anyone here?
