Nice catching Kenny. Keep it up, now's the time to catch the big girls as they start heading south. Thanks for the picture.

Good looking striper Kenny. Are you reaching them from the beach or are you getting in the surf with them?

Wearing waders but not walking out past my knees. The surf has been high - 4-5 ft. rollers

Big seas and big fish continue on the beaches of Cape Cod. Sadly, when the water cools to 50°, the fish will migrate south to warmer waters. Then my long winter wait will begin.

Looks like you are having a blast...and the run of fish is stellar! Enjoy it while the bite is on and I hope that you get into many more!

Tonight I took a gentleman from the UK who had never caught a striper to Nauset Beach. Between us, we caught more than a dozen slots in the last hour of daylight. Purple SP minnow and 2 oz. White bucktail jigs. Landed 20+ fish.

That's awesome! I've been reading numerous posts about this annual Fall run of stripers...and it sounds like an exciting tradition that everybody looks forward to. Great memories made for each of you from that outing! Bloody well done I say!
