I’m waiting too! I also rent a cabin at Pleasure Cove when there. I’ve had great days there when the lake turns over, many limits of nice rainbows and silver Salmon. Many times we never left Pleasure cove! My best days are usually from mid December to mid February. My buddy fished there last week for bass, very slow. He saw very few boats fishing for trout. Water temp was 59-60 degrees and level was very low. Many of the points where totally exposed. He was marking fish at 40 to 60ft. Hope you have down riggers. Look forward to hearing back from your trip and tight lines ang good luck!

Buddy just got back, launched out of Pleasure Cove. Water is so low you can’t launch without 4 wheel drive!

Do you know what that meant, can't launch without a 4 wheel drive?

I booked a cabin there from Thanksgiving Thursday until Sunday, So I'm trying to figure that out, nobody is answering the phones Wednesday or today either.

Water is so low at the ramp at pleasure cove marina that if you attempt to launch any boat other then a small light weight boat you will need a 4 wheel drive tow vehicle to utilize the ramp. This was two weeks ago. Rear tires are off the concrete section of the ramp necessitated power to the front wheels (4WD) I would continue to contact the resort. Things might have changed with the recent rain.

just called the marina , I spoke to someone. Told me that ramp is CLOSED. They are moving all the docks into deeper water and trying to address the ramp issue. You should definitely call before if u are bringing a boat i you call press 4 for the billing dept. they answered !!

Thanks, they said people are launching off the one side they have open, that I would need a 4x4...also that Markley Cove is open for launching and I could launch there and bring the boat around...

...also that it is raining enough to raise the level so I can keep an eye on how much it comes up by Thanksgiving.

Thanks again!

Well that’s good news. Person that I talked to told me the ramp was completely closed!
Thanks again!

The regular ramp was a challenge as you can see, it takes a really good 4 wheel drive...not!

There is an alternate ramp that isn't bad, but it has no courtesy dock.

The lake has not turned over so the fish are deep and it was a really tough bite, we didn't get a thing.

Sorry to about the tough fishing. Buddy fished there last week, launched out of Spanish Flats. 4wd. Only. They fished that part of the lake using downriggers. Fish were at 20ft. They limited out with some nice fish.

The only thing that was making me feel better was that nobody was catching fish. The funny thing is the arm going out of Pleasure Cove was jammed full of fish and huge bait balls.

You can launch out of the alternate ramp they have set up at Pleasure Cove, doesn't really need a 4x4, just no courtesy dock.
