St John’s River Flood

Been a while since Ian came through. Yet the St John’s still hasn’t created. Went down to see ramps I use. Here are some pics. It is almost 9 ft above normal. Where the benches are is about 8 ft above the water normally. There are dead fish and vultures everywhere. It’s devastating to see. I’ve never seen it even close to this so far.

Wow Hos, that's unreal. I would think it would have drained back into the ocean by now. Be careful down there.

Yes Kandy there were dead fish everywhere. Hurricane suck oxygen from the water. There were fish from 6” to 20” everywhere. It breaks my fisherman’s heart.
