Is there any place you can go to for Salt water fishing? I have no boat and usually go to Matlacha or the causeway.

If you’re willing to drive awhile try the skyway bridge. Not crowded during the week and a large area for you to try.
I’m new to,Florida and went there once so far. I plan on going again. Tight lines
There's a fishing pier/ dock at Ponce De Leon Park in Punta Gorda go on the out going tide
And use live shrimp.
You will catch some fish.
That Creek drains about 1/3 of the punta Gorda isles water front community.
The out going tide is the best.
